Henrik Nordbrandt – A Danish Poet Who Dares
May 17, 2008
The prize winning Danish poet Henrik Nordbrandt stands out as one of the few, who dares to use certain subjects, practically banned elsewhere by political correctnes.
In this fine poem “All the great men”, published by Gyldendal in 2007 (Buy the book here) humbly brought to an English audience by Danish Affairs, Nordbrandt satirizes on Jesus and Mohammed.
All the great men
All the great men
All the great men
All the great men begins with an A:
Adam, Abraham, Archimedes, Aristophanes
Alexander, Androchles, Adolf
Woody Allen and AndersFogh Rasmussen.
Those, who don´t
are either exceptions
that prove the ruleor crooks.
Jesus is a good example
on the firstMohammed on the second:
In the kingdom of camels
any two-legged could
claim to be a prophetWhat was Karl the twelfth
other than a drunk Swede? And Marx?
A new era
does not begin with an M.Thus hereby
it has once again been provedthat God planned it all
systematically
from the beginning.

Dutch Cartoonist Arrested
May 17, 2008
AMSTERDAM. The Dutch Cartoonist working under the pseudonym Gregorius Neckshot was arrested 13th of May. This arrest is not just another example of ridiculous European dhimmitude towards the totalitarian ideology of Islam. This incident shows that post-war Europe is no longer a safe haven for freedom loving human beings dedicated to defending the open society against its enemies.
First they came for the bloggers and cartoonists. Who will be next?
The arrest is particularly remarkable because it follows a complaint dating from 2005. Three years later, there was suddenly reason to take Nekschot by surprise in his home, said Teeuwen with incomprehension.
Hirsch Ballin said Friday the arrest was only now carried out because Nekschot’s identity was not known to the OM before. According to Geenstijl.nl website, this is nonsense because internet providers must provide the details of operators of websites they host if the OM asks for this as part of a criminal investigation.
The OM did not bother to make such a request before, but Hirsch Ballin apparently now wants headlines such as ‘Cartoonist Arrested in The Netherlands’ to be send into the world to improve tense relations with Arab countries, Geenstijl suggested.
…
The arrest followed an investigation of the work of Nekschot, after a complaint was made against him in 2005 by Abdul Jabbar van de Ven. This Dutch convert to Islam calls himself an Imam. After the murder of filmmaker Theo van Gogh, he said on TV he would thank Allah if he could arrange for Geert Wilders to die, “for example of cancer”.
Jabbar van de Ven made the complaint to the National Discrimination Expertise Centre (LECD). This complaint was passed on to the OM. According to Geenstijl.nl, Paul Velleman, the prosecutor who gave the order for the cartoonist’s arrest, is also the head of the LECD.

Why Europeans don´t want Turkey in EU
May 9, 2008
Ancient Troy was excavated by the famous german archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870s´ Ottoman empire. Troy is located in today´s Turkey.
Many Americans hardly understand, why Turkey isn´t embraced as a dear member of the European family. To most Europeans modern Turkey is a cheap tourist destination, a NATO ally but also a large scale exporter of under-educated Muslims to the European welfare states. Kemal Atatürks western styled secular republic has not inspired the emigrating masses to wholeheartedly join Europe´s core values and ethics.
Instead we are witnessing self-chosen segregation, spread of sharia law in communities, extensive welfare dependence, disproportional crime rates combined with higher reproduction rates than the European aboriginals. Turkey´s contribution to the european community until now is by all means negative.
And the demographic/islamic threat is nothing compared to the frightening political power, Turkey would be able to impose on European legislation if accepted as a member of EU.
This drawing illustrates the general opinion wery well.
EU President – Who cares?
May 8, 2008
Danish PM Anders Fogh Rasmussen is maybe not discrete enough to position himself as a coming EU President, according to The Economist.
A majority of the Danes thinks the Prime Minister is going for an international top job in either EU or NATO. But I don´t think The Economist has got a correct understanding of Danish politics, since the author believes that Danish voters would prioritize a prime ministers career or short term advantages higher than their national currency and sovereignty.
The man on the street really don´t care about who is on the throne in Brussels. And the “far right” (Danish People´s Party) has had an excellent cooperation with Anders Fogh Rasmussen since 2001. Why should they want him replaced? Only the parties on the far left (communists and socialists) has an interest in getting rid of a succesful right wing leader.
The Economist: When loose talk may cost a top job
Many pundits think he plans an autumn referendum, maybe as soon as September. The polls give him a chance. One from Greens Analyseinstitut in April had 55% of voters for joining the euro and only 38% against. Public opinion also favours scrapping the other opt-outs. Yet 16 years after their first rejection of the Maastricht treaty, there is a rump of opposition to the euro in Denmark, especially on the far left and far right. Oddly, this could work in the prime minister’s favour. Anti-Rasmussen voters may reason that a vote for the euro would enhance his candidacy for the EU job and hasten his departure. A case of yes euro, no prime minister?
