The prize winning Danish poet Henrik Nordbrandt stands out as one of the few, who dares to use certain subjects, practically banned elsewhere by political correctnes.

In this fine poem “All the great men”, published by Gyldendal in 2007 (Buy the book here) humbly brought to an English audience by Danish Affairs, Nordbrandt satirizes on Jesus and Mohammed.

All the great men

All the great men

All the great men

All the great men begins with an A:

Adam, Abraham, Archimedes, Aristophanes
Alexander, Androchles, Adolf
Woody Allen and Anders

Fogh Rasmussen.

Those, who don´t
are either exceptions
that prove the rule

or crooks.

Jesus is a good example
on the first

Mohammed on the second:

In the kingdom of camels
any two-legged could
claim to be a prophet

What was Karl the twelfth
other than a drunk Swede?

And Marx?
A new era
does not begin with an M.

Thus hereby
it has once again been proved

that God planned it all
systematically
from the beginning.
